How did you spend Easter?

Had a great Easter! Took a road trip to Sidnaw with the sled in the back of the truck, unloaded on FR2200 then road to the Sturgeon Falls Parking Lot. From there we took off on snowshoes and made the hike down the gorge and to the falls. What a great time to check out the falls. Tons of snow melt and a huge volume of water coming over the falls made for great timing! It was even warm enough to lay out in the sun above the falls for a bit and take in Spring!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

I spent my easter working on my flippin truck! Running goofy so I went to remove the map sensor, looked fine went to put it back in and the oring/seal shoved down into the intake. Alright time to remove intake. Spent 2 hours goofing around with the intake trying to get the seal out, even flooded the whole thing with water, now before you say what if its in the heads, well I looked, Couldn't get the best view on the driver side back cylinder tried telescoping mirror/flashlight still didn't see it, must be in the intake right? WRONG finally stuck my head between the motor and firewall, mind you I had about 1" between my face and the motor and my back of my head was pushed against the firewall, It wasn't until then that I saw that STUPID little orange oring sitting on top of my valve. Fished it out with a hook & pick set connected to a vice grips. Hope I didn't take your thread a wrong turn, just stating how i spent my easter! Thanks for the pics though, looked like a fun time, wish I could still be riding!

Driving back from the eastern/central UP. Went up Thursday to ride the Seney, Newberry Grand Marias area. Tons of snow and great riding to be had. Never met a sled in 2.5 days and 340 miles, but did see a few parked enjoying the sun and warmth.

smoked a brisket for 12 hrs hauled the sleds to storage and on a side note no hood on a sled sucks hard for summer storage prep

A well ridden and well cared for sled is better than a lightly ridden never cared for sled! Heck I think mine is still mint!!! You know they are adult driven U.P. miles. ;)

Church, traditional ham lunch, then hid Easter eggs for the kids. Then we broke out the boats and motor boated around the new pond. Somehow the kids managed to get waist deep in the water (wasn't warm), and the guys ended up hulling a water tank to the 700 trees we planted last weekend.

(anyone boondocks and rips these trees up will have a hemlock removed at the proctologist)

Since you asked my wife and I were in Las Vegas, hung out at the MGM pool and lazy river.
The day prior we went to Hoover Dam and monday went to Death Valley National Park.
I did 2 of 3 hikes in the afternoon by myself. The wife was done after Badwater Basin and the 105 temps. I told her it was dry heat and we had a wind.

Sounds like a great time! I don't care how dry it is, 105 is hot when you are hiking!
