Yes, but not today. Currently raining. Will change to snow with 1-2" tonight.

was up yesterday, grooming from mass city north. trails are pretty good anything close to a road is bare of course.

Trails gotta be open this weekend (today and tomorrow 9-4) for the "Ski-Doo Demo-Tour" of the 2021 models at the Cherrywood Lodge.

North Country Snowmobile Club in Ontonagon reported 4 inches of new snow overnight and that they'll probably be out grooming tonight.

My kids no longer have school after Wednesday. I am seriously consider taking off ditching them with the farm and trying to find somewhere to ride midweek. Don't normally get to do that. Not scared of the virus. It's life. I just want to get that actually enjoy myself.Now the ? Is where to go?

Got about 3-4 inches of fresh snow here in Houghton on Thursday night. The pictures below show what is like in town right now, at the places which run out of snow first.

Once you get out of town things drastically improve (below pics as examples). I was between Houghton and Twin Lakes Tuesday and Wednesday (before the fresh snow) and saw numerous trail crossings like these.
Things aren't going to be perfect, especially in town. But if you come up you'll have the trails nearly to yourself and everything I saw once away from town looked very snow covered and groomed. Can either sit at home waiting for things to hopefully get back to normal or you can come up and enjoy God's country.
