How many miles have you put on your sled this season?

Theres got to be a better gauge for a snowmobile season than numbers on an odometer. For me its more about getting out and enjoying the winter with family and friends. So far I only have maybe 200 miles, but they were pretty darn good miles. :)

Years ago, I liked to rack up the miles. Now that we have more off trail sleds, miles don't matter. 70 miles or so mainly off trail playing in powder is more fun than 300 miles on groomed trails. To bad the winter doesn't cooperate so everyone can ride the way they want.
Coming back from Raco today, we saw a couple of Harleys south of bridge and another set of Harleys in TC.34degrees

zero, just had to cancel our third (1week) trip. 1) Mid December, not enough snow, 2) 2nd week January,no one to answer phones at the office, 3) this week, our fury child was diagnosed with lymphoma the day before we were to leave. Instead of heading to the UP, we will be driving to Madison for chemotherapy for our little girl.:(

425.

Just got back from 375 miles in 2 1/2 days in Sayner / Boulder Junction / Phelps / LOL / Presque Isle area. Found a lot more good and very good riding than expected, but they need more snow.

I agree with others, it is not at all about the total miles, it is about the quality. Saturday night return trip after dinner from Boulder to Sayner was 58 miles (the direct route is about 20). 53 miles had just been groomed, and we passed 3 groomers on this trip. Perfect moonlit night, nice easy cruising speed, just about as close to a "zen" time on a sled as I have had.
