For the first time since I was 16, I don't own a Mopar. I have always had at least one, and up to 3, at one time. My last one was my wifes Town and Country, that I got when she got an Envoy last fall. A few weeks ago the tranny went out on that on my way to work. So the search was one, quickly, for a "new" work car for me. I had a '01 Bonneville that was very reliable that I finally sold this past fall. So I really wanted another Bonneville. It was comfortable and reliable, and I just liked it.
Friday I bought an '02 Bonneville SSEi with 86k. It's a little nicer than what I need for a work car, but it was fairly local and the price was in tha area of what I wanted to spend.
It's not that I won't own another Mopar product, but I have found the GMs to be cheaper to keep around.
Now we have a GMC Sierra 2500HD, a GMC Envoy, and a Pontiac Bonneville. I hope this one is as good as the last one.
I'm not sure why, but it feels kinda good to be Chrysler-Free.
