I go to a swap meet to buy snowmobile parts and return home with this?

A brand new trailer? Couldn't resist, 12 footer with the big front door for $3175. I guess buying a cheaper/older sled paid off. Finally have some place to store a 155" down the road...

Hey Indy, did you get your picture taken with the Axxxtion Calendar girls? That seemed to be a very popular stop for a lot of young men. I saw lots of smiling faces leave their booth. I couldn't help but smile my self as I walked by.;)

No, didn't even stop at the tent! Was out hunting for deals but came up empty handed other than a gear, skid plate, and clutch press tool. Saw an ad on Craigslist yesterday at a trailer place in Wausau they closed at noon so I made sure to get there in time. Just wanted to "check it out" but he knocked another $225 off of what was already a good price. Couldn't go home without it!

Nope, trailer dealer nearby. The King Company real great guys to deal with even threw in a free reciever and ball as I didn't have one on me.

I have gotten a few parts from King Company, they are a pretty decent company. And it's handy for me, I work about a mile from there.

3200$ for a fancy trailer?? Your priorities are all screwed up kid. That could have been four trips out west!!!;)

that's a nice trailer Indy. Your sled will love you for it!

I've been thinking about it since I bought it! Sled is way too spotless to ruin on my open trailer. Just gotta pony up now gas ain't gonna be cheap. Selling the 4 place so can't split gas across 4 guys anymore.

LOL as much as I want to go out there I just don't think it's a smart way to spend money yet. I'd rather make multiple fun trips to the U.P. instead

U can still split 3 ways as long as there is a snow bank for loading or the Yamahas stay in the trailer

Hey, your still young enough to make it big in the movies. You should be focused on riding, not towing!!!;)

yep u are correct deff do not want to head west.
a kid your age could very ez become a mountain bum. end up pulling roots out of mommy's basement working some lodge job with free room and board making just enough for gas and sled parts and riding from nov to may . sounds just awful

lol!

I almost did that at a ski hill when I was 21. Had a buddy that did it, went to Big Sky, skied 170 days one year. Some days that still sounds pretty good.

Nice trailer Indy. Now next start looking for a drive on/off for $3,200, then sell this one for $3,500 and you'll have enough left to buy ski guides and a track mat :)

Great move! You will love an enclosed trailer and will never go back. No more strapping the cover on in freezing cold and heavy wind. No more marks on the sled from the cover flapping in the wind, no matter how much you secure the cover. No more rusty front suspension from road salt or corrosion under the hood from salt and slush soaking through your cover and dripping on the engine and exhaust pipe. I'm not sure why they make open trailers! ;) BTW, be sure to get a spare tire!

It's a wash going out West as far as money goes. You put more money in gas in your truck but you save it in your sled. In my experience (which is limited), it's hard to burn through more than a tank of gas a day out West. You can do that by mid-morning in the UP.

Great looking trailer. It would be a shame to through that sled you just picked up out on an open trailer. You can still do 3 sleds in you put one in the back of the truck anyway.

I hear ya! This is our 3rd enclosed after trashing my 500 I don't want any of my sleds ever to see an open trailer again. Last year was really my first year running an open trailer but it was also the most I've ever trailered in a season.
