Very nice. The bad gas milage is right but that sled rips. They are jetted rich, if you back down 2 sizes it runs perfect and is much more crisp, but the previous owner may have done that. I will check tomorrow on the exact sizes, its worth the money and easy to do. (cheap as well)

it's got 144 studs, i'm thinking of switching the ski's over but haven't decided yet.... i really like the white. i wanted the white one over the black sp. i'm thinking of switching over the riser too because my parents said i can't get another one which makes me mad. but i guess i'll live since i'm paying for half

Nice lookin sled, and yea I think I would switch those ski's out....See it was a sign when you got those 10" carbides and they were teasin ya about to much for that 500. You just weren't letting anyone know you had other things in mind for those things....Now ya gotta build a bigger shed.

xcr440, we got both of them for $3200. so, even better. on my sled one of the tail light bulbs was burnt out, he got the bulb out and it was all black and he said it was burnt but never got a new bulb to replace it.

Indy, I got a couple of 2" powermadd riser blocks. They came off an old Yammy sxr of mine. I don't know if they have the same bolt pattern as the Polaris. center - center bolt spacing on the block is 1-3/8" x 2-3/8". Yours if you thing they will work. No charge. Let me know.

Nice find by the way. The 700 is bullet proof. I have a buddy that has a 2000 700 and it goes in the trailer at the end of the year and comes out in the fall. Short of a little grease in the zerks it gets no other maintenance. Has has a bent tunnel from hitting stumps off trail and still goes like heck. If his survives with out any attention yours will get many years of good use.

my dad turned the gas off and never informed me he did it before we trailered them home and i had it running and was gonna load it up on the trailer and i was 8 feet away from the trailer and the sled shut off. i changed the plugs and primed er some more and she won't go. what should i do? i'm just waiting 15 min. and i'll try to start er again but any suggestions?

pull pull pull, you can try pressurizing the tank to assist the fuel flow to the carbs, and you can also pull the sled over without the plugs.

But you are going to have to refill the float bowls with fuel, so it may take some pulling.

Indy- Heres the main jet numbers that will make those sleds run much better.

Stock Mag side-190 Pto side-185

Rejet Mag side-178 Pto side-172

Of course this is not a necessity but the jets will get rid of the stumble and hesitation when w.o.t. Put these in a 99 700 a few years ago and it helped a lot. Only thing about leaning the jets a bit is I wouldn't hold it wide open for a long time on a lake when it is very cold out (below zero) just to play it safe.
