Howdy all,
Starting moving sleds around this weekend and 'found' the Skiroule s250 that was a gift to me from a family friend. They were cleaning out their garage about 4 years ago, knew I was a sledder and offered it and it's matching skiboose to me. I couldn't say no and it's been in my garage ever since. But now I see that I'm never going to get around to restoring it or riding it (barely have time to ride now) so I'm thinking of either donating it to a museum or just selling it.
So - any suggestions on what to do with it? It's a Skiroule 250S with the one lunger sachs motor. Darker green color. The skiboose is matching in color. It was purchased new, registered once, ridden by this family's kids for several years in the early 70's, and put in the barn. The entire machine is in pretty good shape, has some minor rust on exposed metal surfaces but it's all there. The skiboose needs the hitch repaired and a new windshield. From what I can see it needs a good going over and it will be ready for the vintage ideas.
It's located in West Michigan.
Open to ideas and suggestions. I just want someone to have it who would enjoy getting the old girl running and looking good again.
Thanks,
Fredster
