More of a rant than anything but since when is a 6 year old truck with 100,000 miles worth $18,000-$20,000? But thats whats out there right now. I bought my 2002 five years ago for $9200. What's up?

end of yr u can get a new non current ext cab 4x4 stx for 26 or a xlt for 27 all day.
drop down 8 or 9k u should be under 360 for 72.

I looked for used for a year before i said screw it, and bought new. When i did find a deal, it was gone with in an hour. Like Ezra said, end of year and make sure you're getting it for under invoice, even if you have to travel to get it. Even the salesmen would admitt that new was a better option.

I saw in some diesel truck mag the new Colorado is going to be offered in a 4cl turbo diesel .same motor gm has been using all over the world but USA for 3 yrs.
but after u start buying new it is not that expensive to just keep trading in every 4 or 5 the money they are giving for truck trades make it a no brainer.
just start some BS part part time business like selling amsoil that u need to delver to the UP lose money on it for yrs to come off set the cost of the truck gas insurance on the taxes from your 9to5
