POLARISDAN,

I know you are frustrated, but at least they ended up covering it! It could have gone the other way. I've had 3 different occasions, over 25 years of buying new sleds, where Polaris could have told me too bad, the warranty has expired, but each and every time, they have covered it when they wouldn't have had to. In this case, they probably should have covered it since they've had issues with the 800.

I have a friend that had his 600 eTec go down one month out of warranty and they covered absolutely nothing for him! Sadder yet, he had the engine rebuilt and with just a few miles on it, had some issues with the DNR in northern MN and he lost his sled. He could have bought it back at auction. I don't know whether to put LOL or :(

How many of the 18,500 have you retained? Just saying . I find FB has grabbed many.

I don't really keep a close eye on how many of the board members are active. The board itself seems to be running around average, but when I talk about the site, I mean the whole site. The discussion board is just a small part of the entire site and the viewership, probably around 10% or so.

I've heard you say that before, I'd guess the forecast is the most active section, are the cams more active than the discussion board? What about the Journal?

The Journal spikes on Sunday and Monday, but from a daily standpoint, the forecast would be number one at around 40%, the cams at 35%, snowcover at around 10%, discussion board at 10% and then everything else.

Traffic to the site is up over 175% from long term November averages.

i had paid for the extended at $1500, so i guess i assumed coverage, but the 10 month thing between them and a lousy dealer that got bought out, shouldnt have taken so long..i finally called polaris to complain and called kip, because i was determined to get this resolved, and lo and behold the next day it magically appeared..so i dont know..i want the bigger motor, i want the 2 stroke resposiveness..but at 13k-2 in a row with lost partial seasons-im getting tired of it..so im sure im going 4 stroke, and hoping they shed another bunch of weight over the next couple years when im ready to buy again ..

so tell us how soebody loses a sled to the DNR? thats kinda scary

I chuckled at that too. This Nov has been the busiest Nov for the site ever. The weather has pretty much everything to do with it, but still busier than ever.

so are u saying the Pohlad's care more about there base ball team and screwing the tax payer than standing up and representing there poo buyers?
fyi Tri K is where all my buds buy there poo . they have always gone to bat for them and all there exploded 800s.
I also have a good friend that poo stood behind last yr and flipped the bill for all parts. bud covered labor for a dropped skirt out of warranty. I assumed it was because who he was but I see some say they have gotten the same treatment . hats off to that
as a company they treat us{ local club's} well .
even after burning last yrs lender sxs to the ground they lent us another this yr. always buy flap adds no questions asked

Is this the bitch section? Ok, took sled to dealer to fix a small coolant leak, they dropped sled off fork lift and month and a half later it's done, but say couldn't fix leak cause didn't have the right tools. Put sled on trailer, drove forty miles to another dealer, and they will fix leak.
Just wonder how they can call themselves a snowmobile dealer when they can't fix something because they don't have the tools?
Ok, I'm done.
Thankfull for this site and the great people on it.
And thankfull that John has this site for us to use!!!!!!
Hope y'all are having a good thanksgiving......

If the DNR wants you to stop but you run instead, they frown on that! :) In fact, they take your sled and auction it off. True story.
