I know you are frustrated, but at least they ended up covering it! It could have gone the other way. I've had 3 different occasions, over 25 years of buying new sleds, where Polaris could have told me too bad, the warranty has expired, but each and every time, they have covered it when they wouldn't have had to. In this case, they probably should have covered it since they've had issues with the 800.
I have a friend that had his 600 eTec go down one month out of warranty and they covered absolutely nothing for him! Sadder yet, he had the engine rebuilt and with just a few miles on it, had some issues with the DNR in northern MN and he lost his sled. He could have bought it back at auction. I don't know whether to put LOL or
