Thinking of you and your family

My thoughts and prayers will be with you, Nora and Grace over the next several weeks! I'm glad you listen when your body is telling you something.

This makes the 2nd annual wood cutting, and this year cabin staining, even more necessary! ;)

Godspeed John!

John, we've never met personally but I've been a member since the early days of JohnDee.com Through your journals we've come to know your family and their surroundings rather well so challenges such as you're facing now, become personal.

You should know that you have an extended family here wishing you well and a speedy recovery in the coming days and weeks. We'll be anxious to hear of your experiences and well-being after the surgery.

All the best in care and support!

Gary

Hey John, you're in the best place in the world at the Mayo.. Love your reports and the U P!!! You'll be all healed up in plenty of time for the snow!!

Anyone know how John's surgery went? Such a great guy, living most of our dreams and he can't catch a break in the health department.

Hope all is well, still praying for you John.

per Mrs Running Bear's FB post (sorry for stealing it, hope it's OK!!) "Super good news on John's FB page - J.A. said he spoke to Nora and she said he made it through the surgery well but has a long road ahead. Good Good News!"

Let's keep praying for his recovery! And for his family! :)

Good news!
John is in ICU and recovery very well. They were able to repair is valve so he didn't need the replacement. So far this surgery and recovery is much, much better than last time. I left him in good spirits, breathing on his own, with good stats. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We sure felt them today! The nurse asked if he has any chronic pain and he pointed to me! haha So he's even regained his sense of humor:)

Hurray! Such good news! (Now I can start breathing again — I was turnin' blue holding my breath!) I just hope John's recovery stays on track, with no backslidin' and no surprises!
