Interesting Thanksgiving Facts

Was surfing the web this morning and came across this tidbit:

"The U.S. ranks as the largest producer of turkeys in the world (one-quarter of a billion birds annually). The U.S. state that earns the No. 1 spot for most turkeys produced? Minnesota, which raises about 47 million turkeys each year. Meanwhile, Wisconsin wins as the top cranberry producer, Illinois is the biggest pumpkin grower."

Could make a few smart comments about turkeys and MN, but I'll just stick to the title of the thread :)

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Couldn't agree more with all three of you, but you forgot unemployment rate, housing values slowest to rebound and still going down in some cases, highest crime, 80% of kids on free lunch program, and on and on...

Was kind of proud of the stat I started the thread with though... was thinking if it wasn't for us "flyover states" all those people on the coasts wouldn't be enjoying their Thanksgiving meal quite so much.
