no matter what, wear your snow boots. lots of mud/water on the walk in and snow/slush once inside the race area. found this out the hard way my first time there. i am going saturday which means it will rain, then sunday will be nice. it is a lot of fun

Well the Weather.com forecast has change to 30% chance of rain now for Saturday, any insight to that John, I know don't ask...
I'm hoping it will be nice, the kids will not like it, if its raining, nor will I. I booked a room at the Comfort Inn, only have till tomorrow at 4 to cancel so we will see. Saturday is the day we will be there too, got to have the kids home so mommy gets some time with them on Sunday.

The show will go on!!!

Will it be great...always is. Will the snow look good...no. They will run them in mud. Way too big of an event. Trust me....I have worked the track and Nielsen Enterprises is a hugh sponsor which helps their spring order sales. Bring the boots and shorts. As others have posted...check out the web cam yourself. While you are at the races stop by the Walworth County Snowmobile Trailer...we are selling tickets for our County raffle on April 5th. Thank you.

I was out there on Tuesday afternoon.........PLENTY of snow. However, the spectators will be walking around on wood chips. Small price to pay to watch Ross Martin open a can-o-whooparse for the final. And 70 degrees.......good times!!!

Well will see what the weather does I kept my room, depending on the weather I try to wear my LOFS Fire/EMS T-shirt (light gray big black letters a crossed the back), if you see me say hi!

They may be mud bunnies.

First time I went to the Indy 500 (13 years old) I had seats in the "Snake Pit" inside turn 4, Saw many signs reading "Show your tits for a beer" and saw many willing young ladies! Saw a few mud bunnies , mud wrestling. The tops never seamed to stay on their either! (I was hooked!)

My dad had past away 4 months early that year and one of his friends took me to the race, came home told my mom, I had a great time, at the "race" and I wanted to order my own tickets next year. She let me, I was able to have seats there for 2 more year before they took out the Snake Pit, to make the track more "Family Friendly". Which they have but stay in the Coke lot the night before and you can still have some great views!

Looks like they eliminated the 2nd hill they usually race up. I guess better than no racing at all. I'm still amazed they are pulling it off!

Current radar at 8:15 a.m. shows light rain over the Lake Geneva area, with some heavier rain just off to the west.

Don't forget your boots and rain gear.
