just my observation....if floods happen in the Midwest or a tornado...WE COME TOGETHER!!!if a neighbor needs help WE HELP!!!Now head south to the land of the blues...and well we seen what happen!!!did it have something to do with lower clas?middle class? the rich? NO it did not.......I believe it had to do with color!!!!!I guess I might be racist
Japan is just unbelievable!!!as a side note I have not heard what the big O is thinking about Japan BUT he did get his March madness pics in yesterday to espn....thank god would hate to miss the Basketball playoffs.......

Aflac has 70% of there busines in Japan so what ever he said was not taken lightly over there so he was fired at times think before you speak no matter what your history with that company is or what you do for a living silence is golden at times !!! i respect you to ezra !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The coastline slid over 13 feet in just a couple of minutes. It also moved down 2 feet at the same time. That movement would have completely destroyed just about anything. It is amazing that anyone lived through the quake. Not to mention the tsunami.

Firecat guy said that if a flood or tornado happens in the midwest we come together. I think he is right on. We had a huge flood in 1997 and over 60,000 people had to evacuate, some for months, and there was no looting at all, very little crime, and lots of volunteers from all over the US and Canada came and helped clean up and rebuild our area. I had a couple of electricians from Pennslvania rewire my basement and some people from Ohio help sheet rock the basement. The upper midwest is a lot different than the bigger cities and the southern parts of the US. I hope the same thing happens for the people of Japan. They look like very self reliant people and are not blaming everyone for everything.

You confuse color with culture. These are two quite distinctly different factors.
Folks of color live all over the country, whereas cultures remain segmented often surrounding urban areas. Within those areas are citizens who find life is day to day and where ripping off your neighbor is an every day occurrence. If opportunity presents itself, then the reasons for those opportunities, are unimportant, you simply do what you have learned to do and take advantage of those opportunities. An event simply brings on ideal conditions to do what you have learned to do over the course of time.
I hope this lesson has not been lost on you.....

Only one of the six is a plutonium reactor. Very little long term damage will occur. What's to worry about? Obama's going to Brazil to golf. Can't be too bad.
