I really want to try the X version of the Riot. I have the regular version and while it is fantastic on the trail, it is not so much fun in any real powder. I think the X is a good choice for the area. I just grabbed what Chad had laying around at the time, and to be honest, I assumed the X was just a sticker/shock package like every other X whatever. Should have done some research!
I agree about the 8000 Ctec-2. This motor is unbelievable. I can ride on-trail for hours just happily listening to that motor sing. Either way, I'm pretty sure my next sled will also be a Cat, just because of that motor and the reliability so far.
