I still am having a hard time comprehending this melt down.
I hear ya, snow_monkey. We waited forever down here to finally get enough snow to ride. Now this.
I understand there are areas up north that might make it, good for them. Maybe I'll be able to make a "quick" trip to the U.P. before it is all done for the season.
I keep waking up and it's still not a dream.

John's forecast text is updated, the storm is moving north right in Indy's path
he did something never done on his site before, a mid day tweak and heavy rain with unusually warm temps for the next 3 days in your area, flooding likely, I think he also said a swarm of locusts with some volcanic activity, probably like lava flows, just a few inches though

from what I understand there is a crack in the cores mantle and magma is making a b-line for your area, if you have steel toed boots I would recommend it.
the dream was a nightmare went up wend had a ok day sweating wearing just a shirt and bibs and said if it gets any hotter I would be riding in my underwear.well it got hotter and I was held to mt statement for a quick spin around a field for the video camera.woke up fri to concrete hard snow so we drove to white pine looked at the dirt/frozen watter/trails went to the mall in white pine BTW you have to be MI resident to qualify for a medical card and it takes a month to process.strike 2 so then we drove across the parking lot and went bolling and got drunk.went out to try to get some riding in in the woods it was crunchy hard not a lot of fun so went to the bar had dinner packed it up and got home at 2am.BTW is it just me or do other people feel like slapping some one when you are on a trip and they say something like oh yeah we are going to get a big storm on the day after you are leaving.or in the tropics and you are in jeans and a rain coat and they say oh yeah this is the worst week we have seen in yrs but at least next week it is going to get back to normal. oh well had ! ok day for 400 bucks I would pay that in July for 1 good day of riding hope to get up 1 more time before CO in March
