What a great weekend! John invited me up to ride, and use the xtx, so I said you betcha!
I arrived at John's, and everyone else was ready to ride. I got to meet Brian, Bob, Chico, and Kenny. Kenny bowed out early, he was dialing in his mod sled, and it wasn't running quite right. Brian and Bob and Chico are a great bunch of guys, and very good riders. I can see why John enjoy's riding with those guys, they are fun to be with.
Here is our first break, Brian was having some bogging issues, he had some ice/water in the air box, cleaned it out, and we were on our way.
Beautiful!
Why do cats like trees? Brain helping Chico out.
Man it was deep here. I am standing next to the xtx taking this picture. As I tried walking to the front of the sled, I sank up to my crotch, and made a comment on that fact. Bob then said, "yea, but that isn't very far!" I LMAO when he said that. So true. LOL.
Brian going over the bank.
We stopped here to look for John's camera. Ok, OK, I got stuck here, and Chico just happened to notice John's helmet cam laying in the snow. SO, I got stuck here on purpose so we could find the camera. ?

Sunday John and I went for a little ride before I had to head home. We were 10 minutes into the ride when this happened.
Then 5 minutes later, this happened.
Then 5 minutes after that, John had another one! LOL. No pics of that one though.
John led us down a two tack that ended up right here.
Where we came from.
Then I caught John doing this sloooowww moootion carve at this corner, mad skills he has! Grabbed the gas after I took the pic, and rode it out.
John on the log pile.
There is so much snow up there right now, hard to believe it was only the second weekend in Janaury. I hope it just keeps dumping up there right up to the ride in, then we can have bluebird skys during the day, and a foot of fresh every night. Can't wait to get back up there!
