We picked up 3-6" overnight and still snowing. Should get another 1-3 before it shuts down completely tomorrow midday.

We are grooming double shifts on trail 17 from Hancock to Calumet-Mohawk. All other main trails are groomed every night. Some of the loops are at an every other day schedule right now, but will be going to every 24 hours in a few more days. Still training 2 of the new operators, but the rest are trained and going out on their own. Trails have been pretty good this week. Weekend traffic will present its usual challenges, but we are giving it our all, including double shifts for a couple of our operators. Training in the day and then heading out at night to cover their own shifts. I have never been more proud of our organization as I am now.

question... since 3 is closed due to being washed out can you get to gay other than taking 124 there and back? or can you take 124 and then 122 back to three and then north on 3 to calumet/larium back to 17 then south? or is 3 closed completely from that junction near calumet south?
Yes, it is. There is hope for a re-route yet this season because of the logging. We are working on it.

Trail 3 is open from Calumet/Laurium to Lake Linden. Trail 122 is also open, which means you can take 3 to 122 to Gay. If you want to avoid 17 between Hancock and Calumet, you can take 3 to Dollar Bay and then jump on the Dreamland trail and take it up to 122.

Thanks John! one of our rides when up there is high rock and back from Gogebic and its always nice to not have to take same trails (as much as possible) there and back, and I can remember logging going on in this stretch in the past. Much appreciated! but wasn't sure about or if 3 was closed entirely.
