Warmest, best boots I ever owned.....bought mine after my Trukke's finally died......just make sure you use moisture wicking socks (like Klim's or Cabela's or whatever).......I've never had to use wool, I would think they would be too warm leading to wet feet which then equals cold feet........FWIW
Edit: Klim's customer service is pretty good too......I busted a lace after 2+ seasons and called to ask where I could buy a pair......they sent them to me gratis.......I certainly didn't expect that....
