klim gear

Perkinsville Powersports from Anderson Indiana. Order enough and they will give snow show pricing, even over the phone. My brother and I have had the best customer service with them and have been buying from them for 3 years now. Largest Klim dealer in the Nation!

Ask for Bob or Julie. They should be able to hook you up.

Try Ecklunds motor sports in Oshkosh WI. They usually knock off 30 to 40 % on last years stuff & they have a big selection.

Agree, Julie is awesome to deal with and they donated to this years john dee ride-in for Make a wish. I would definitly do business with them again!

We are a John Dee supporter and sell Klim. Prices are set in stone by Klim, discounts can be given at the show of no more then 10%.

We would love your business!

I don't doubt you, but that's a funny statement. Prices are utlimately set by the consumer, and it usually shows later on in the year.

Have you tried finding Klim gear on sale (other than noncurrent)? They seem to do a good job of enforcing this policy. Apple and other companies do the same thing...

They can probably deal a little more in person...

I have seen prices 20% off last years stock but current stock is set in stone may be able to wangle 10% if you get lucky. Problem with me is Klim standard sizes did not fit right & Klim special sizing really was costly to order in so bought FXR team pants with more features & a lot less money with many more sizes in stock. Both very good products but to me FXR better bang for the buck.:)

Smoking Crack? Klim is like Harley Davidson, Carharts, Bose, Harmon Cardon, Tileworks, Motor Fist and others. Manufacturer and /or stores sets price. All my Klim deals are by dealers folding and/or buying last yrs. model gear. Many dealers have leaned over the counter and wispered to me that they are not suppose to be selling below set prices. So it can be done if at right place at right time, but is not the norm. As far as your supply and demand theory, lt don't hold water on quality, name brand items. In the end we pay if we want it. My Klim gear is around 4 years old or so and it is worn a lot. Money well spent. I now have about double of everything they sell in layer 1 and 2.

I had the FXR pants, they looked way cool, my teenage son decided to inherit them, they went to pieces fast in the zipper dept. I feel it is a pay me now or pay me later type purchase for good clothing. If a person is no longer growing then get something that will last a long time, over the years you are ahead. Ordering clothing or shoes for me never works despite the brand. just got to try it on first.

Sorry your son had problems but my FXR Team Pants have held up very well look like new & will serve me a long time. I have other friends in their 20s that have beat their FXR pants & also wearing very well over many rears. I disagree with your view of Motorfist as is good stuff too. To me everyone should buy what they like & can afford. Klim has good stuff but very pricey not available to every budget. I don't know Klims' market share but lots of other riding clothes that work well being purchased & used. Again buy whatever you want but other very good values out there that should be considered as well if you know what to look for.:)

It would be nice if FXR had an 800 number to call and would say, "no problem" and send me a new pair. Looked into zipper replacement and cost was prohibitive for what the garment originally cost. Klim is a value over the long haul, but brought tears at initial investment. I simply do not need product failure at 13,500 feet. If a person is a casual rider then they can get by with other brands. I wear my Klim gear almost daily (every chance I get) from Dec. to April. so it is a value to me.

Bought mine online from Olsen Brothers & customer sevice was excellent kept no charge shipping via UPS FXR team pants until I had the correct size...at least 3 shippings till we honed in on best size & whole bunch of sizes available. Klim dealers would not do this for me I talked to 2 dealers & like you said price was very steep not knowing what would fit? I don't remember FXR warranty because I don't think I will need it but there is a warranty if there is a problem call Olson 800 number. I don't need product failure at -20F in UPMI either & I also wear FXR daily in northern WI & WUPMI since I live here & use my snwomo gear for other activities than just snomo. Still think both very good products FXR just better bang for buck with good dealers.
