last year we had some late snow and rode on the 4-17, all the good stuff fell apart much earlier but it did hold on for a while afterwards.

late season riding

Had to dig back in the archives for a few of these. All 5 pics are from the 2006/2007 season. The first three were from mid April, and the last 2 were taken at Krupps parking lot the day after we got hammered by a 2 day storm/blizzard the weekend 0f 03/04. The sleds were entirely drifted in and could not be seen. There are 2 others under there as well.

Few more from the weekend of 03/10 during the 2009 riding season. Blue Bird days, with highs in the 50's I believe. Love spring riding without a jacket!

These were from March 13-15 2010, pretty much the last weekend to ride up there that year. :(

Just came back from the UP a few minutes ago. We had to get our sleds and didn't ride. We could have ridden if we wanted but decided to head back so we can enjoy the 80 degree day here in IL tomorrow.

Mass and Greenland looked done for the most part. Yes, you could have ridden but I would definitely say Twin Lakes and a little north looked a lot better.

Kind of sad to think I'm about a week or two away from having to mow my lawn for the first time, and judging from Krupps cam, they don't look to far behind!

In protest of this totally crap winter, and these so called GREAT temps in March, I refuse to mow my lawn until mid April, and I don't care if it is 3 fricken feet high by then!!!!!!!!!!!
