Yeah, I'm already fired up about it and I think it's pretty cool that the pitstop is on-board and bringing some riders in. The more that start, the more that will finish :)

I'm probably not a good judge of ride length because I favor a longer ride than a lot of vintage rides that go 10 - 15 miles. The Iron Man vintage ride up in Copper Harbor is usually a 45 - 50 mile ride, much of it on logging roads versus the trail and with a lunch break it makes for a nice late morning to late afternoon event. The mix of sleds doesn't really seem to be an issue, some will do 20 and some will push 80 but with a lot of stops the group stays pretty much together and makes for a nice leisurely ride. Also, the percentage of sleds that finish without major mechanical issues is impressive. This is not to say there aren't some hoods up from time to time. It just goes with the territory.

Fresh grooming would be awesome. On a smooth trail that 4" of travel really shines and these things are a flat-out blast to ride.

I'm not sure how far the old 12/3 can make it. Actually, I'm not sure how far I can make it on her, lol. I'm gonna try my best to make it up there, not sure of my schedule in March. And yes Lenny, I will need a groomed trail for the whopping 3 inches of hi tech bogies underneath the old girl!!

The 19th works for me. I'm hoping to make it with another riding buddy with our Enticer's or TX's. That's great to hear that the Pit Stop is on board. That should really help to spread the word. We'll be riding this weekend at the Waconia vintage event here in MN and hope to post some pictures of our sleds next week after the vintage ride this weekend.

Here's a few pics that were taken yesterday at the big Waconia, MN vintage ride that's part of the huge vintage event held every year at Waconia. My wife and I were riding our 300 and 340 Enticers and my friend had his family riding with a Enticer 250, a couple Polaris TX's and his Yamaha GP338 pulling the sleigh. We had a great time riding the course completely around Lake Waconia and as an added bonus all of our sleds made it back to the finish line under their own power.

My buddy and I plan on riding a couple of these sleds at Lenny's ride in March.

Can't believe I missed this post. Those are some nice sleds! Looking forward to seeing your rides up in MI. Looks like you were parked up on "Mud Mountain". Pretty greasy climb pulling a trailer when it started to warm up.

Here it is!

Saw the poster earlier but not sure where. Definitely looks like it will be a good time.

Today our head mechanic spent a few hrs on my sled and basically went through the entire sled. It's gonna be a good runner!

Switcho7 - Those old Ski Doo's are what its all about and what 37 other mfg's tried to copy and duplicate at that time. Classic. Very Classic.
As is all the others. We will need pictures. Wish I kept my 70 Moto Ski.
