I have worn Klimate jacket and bibs for last 3 years and have been very comfortable in temps from -25 to +45 degrees F. I feel that it is a very good product without spending a lot of money.

Im torn between the 2 but leaning towards Keewenaw. I lost a ton of weight but now my cold tolerance is very very poor. I shiver riding at 20. Never spent a house payments worth of cash on a snowmobile suit before !

If you are on a budget I'd buy leftover OEM gear. It's usually heavily discounted. The advantage with goretex is more the breathability part but you can get some good OEM stuff that is both warm and breathable. Motorfist has some of its discontinued gear discounted also.

Klim is great but you pay for it also.

Klim gear is expensive, but if you own and use it, you understand why it is expensive, it works! Their jackets and bibs are bulletproof, and they use the highest quality fabrics. So, you can buy a cheaper jacket/bib and it might last you a few years, but then you will have to buy new stuff again.

Do yourself a favor, buy quality gear, take care of it, and enjoy it for many many seasons. Why buy cheap gear when your life could literally depend on it should you have some mechanical malfunction.

I have spent a good chunk of change on my riding gear, most of it Klim. I have been out sledding in -25 and been completely comfortable, the same when it was 25. Being cold, wet or too hot can ruin your fun, just my 2 cents.

Lots of good software available that works well & wears well no sense in getting overly dramatic about about any 1 brand. lol Can't say anyone has documented a snowmobile death in MI or WI because they were not wearing Klim gear & that is a fact. :D
