That's Paradise Lodge at Mt Rainer National Park. Amazingly they keep the road open all year long and I don't believe I have ever seen it not opened up at one point in the day. They have had some doozies though, 3-4 foot dumps that took them a while. Had to forgo the plow and needed to use the snow-go all the way up.

Togwotee got some fresh too.

mammoth 2.jpg mammoth.jpg Just looked at the cams for mammoth mtn ski area. They still have 140" base at the main lodge and 290" base on top. Some amazing looking skiing going on right now. Ski in the morning, golf in the afternoon.

was at Mt Rainer in May last year hiking in who knows 8 feet of snow - just climbing up as far as we could and coming down the same day- ran into real hikers though - they were going to the top with one over night at 10,000 feet then to the top (14,700)and another overnight on the way down.
was reading the board in the parking lot -pretty sure the record snow year was 740" with an average of 500 or so
kept telling my wife we were moving to Tacoma, but I don't think she was listening
thanks for the picks guys
