was at Mt Rainer in May last year hiking in who knows 8 feet of snow - just climbing up as far as we could and coming down the same day- ran into real hikers though - they were going to the top with one over night at 10,000 feet then to the top (14,700)and another overnight on the way down.
was reading the board in the parking lot -pretty sure the record snow year was 740" with an average of 500 or so
kept telling my wife we were moving to Tacoma, but I don't think she was listening
