Keep your eyes out for a set of lost Ford truck keys on Trail 13 north, Between Bergland and Greenland. So if you are stopping to smell the roses or even taking a pee...........look down. If a miracle does happen and you come across them, call me at the bar or Call Maple Ridge in Bergland, otherwise someone is not going to make it home for Christmas.

I would like to get out that way. I always find a spot on the truck to hide them then no matter what your keys will not be lost. Not the typical gas cap spot but like the front suspension on my Ram.

I would never go without keyless entry after having it on my last 3 vehicles. My keys never leave the truck.

I hope you get lucky and find them!

Not bad place to be stuck at least.
" hello boss, lost my keys won't be in. Stuck up north sledding"
Best wishes on finding keys.

Like atcticgeorge, if riding from the truck I hide them around the truck.

I also carry the spare just in case in my sled.

my keys have not left the ignition in over a decade.

I bust the key off in the ignitions of the company trucks. the broken part stays in the tumbler section. when you look at the ignition it looks like you need a key. Turn the wing thing in ignition and starts right up. I do this so any of the guys can drive whatever truck we have on a site. So far no one has bothered to steal a work van with 3' tall company logo and name on the sides. If someone wants you vehical they don't need a key. When I trade trucks in I just use a scribe and work the key pc. out. Guys can't make up excuses they lost their keys that way. door key is hidden in a magnetic box behind front bumper. Help yourself it is all insured.

You can prepare all you want, chit still happens. While on my way to a member of this sites house, the dog locked my 4yr old and 3 sets of keys in the truck. No lock smith available early Sunday morning. The Baraga Tribil police and DNR showed up. They were Evan laughing, how do you lock that many sets of keys in the truck. The funny part was the rod they put in the truck to unlock the door. The dog was playing tug of war, pissed off, trying to protect the 4 yr old.I should add,the hide a key was thrown in the glove box the day before, while wheeling. The spare set was in the wife's purse ,she jumped out of the truck to take a picture of the sun rise. I left the truck running, while getting gas.

Thats awsome

A few weeks back the wife and kid and myself all went to the mall, got to the mall early, still closed (10 minutes) had to go back to the truck and wait, when we got back into the Mall the Kids were acting crazy, So my wife said I am going to the truck give me the keys. Checked my pockets can’t find keys truck is locked. Looked through all my pockets nothing, Looked through the windows can’t see them. Wife said with disgust what are you looking for "the Keys" just break a window, NO we called my Mother she ran a set out took 30 min. wife stormed off acting like a spoiled brat. I went back into the store and took care of what we needed to get. Can’t find my wife walked though mall finally find her. Still being "Special" Meet my Mom at the truck open the door still can’t find the keys ASK WIFE CHECK YOUR POCKETS guess what we find Keys (picked them up from the arm rest when we went back to the truck because the mall was not open)
Then the water works start somehow it’s my fault she had the keys the kids must have put them in her pocket everyone fault but hers.
So just remember its not the situation that causes the problems it how you handle them.
Thanks that felt good, she doesn’t come to the site so I should be safe
