Hey 'dusty - where do you get your propane from? I'm in the market myself, and $1.299 is a heck of alot better than I paid last year this time.
I usually get mine from Hilgy's. I found Ferrell to be very high in ER.
I have a 1000 gallon tank from Ritchie Lakeland Oil & Propane & always fill with Ritchie. If new customer to Ritchie they would go super cheap on 1st fill so ask about 1st fill. Ritchie sets prices by location don't know why but that is how it works with them. Never found LP in ER to be competitive.
Interesting they would come all the way to your lake west of ER.
I just got locked at $1.299 at Hilgy's this P.M.

Our lake East of ER....Not at all....... 2 drivers live in Phelps & lots of Ritchie customers in area. Ritchie very cooperative others would not give me green 1000 gallon tank so told Amerigas to come get their POS 500 gallon silver tank been with Ritchie for 10 years now. Amerigas was like talking to a wall super stubborn people.![]()

Yeah I meant East of ER, but typed West.
Ferrellgas was the same way, you couldn't talk business with them at all, their way or the highway. And their propane pricing was always higher than the other guys in town.
I also had suspicions about how much prop I was getting for amount billed.
Hilgy's isn't bad at all, pricing is good, and I lease because if something happens to the line or the tank, they fix it.
