Just like they only were making a very limited 850 Turbo when they first announced it. And now you get buy one whenever you want.

My thought on the one year limited production is that we are looking at the last year of G4 chassis so next year will be a new platform. Perhaps they will drop the Mach again/not have it in the "G5" or whatever it will be?

Where in the world did you come up with THAT number? '17 S/W B-TX (153"x 1.75 track), 260 hp tune, 300 lb rider...16 mpg unless on happy button constantly...use real world numbers next time...
Yes not fuel friendly. It will wear you out just watching a guy riding a SW all day.

Oh bull_feathers...I'm in my mid-70s and can ride my 153 all day long when I get the opportunity...man up!
Good for you buddah2! I am pushing 60, can ride the 9000 Turbo all day and not feel overworked. Best trail riding sled I have ever had. I wonder if its less about the sled . . .

Sorry, not to argue, but not what I have witnessed.

Consistently get between 14-18 on my SW. Don’t know where you got those numbers

Also 60+ and can ride my SW ALL day. Who are these people and where are they coming from

Lmfao 20g for a toy that will be worth less than 6g in about 6 yrs . It is getting stupid out there

No kidding...emphasis on the stupid part. Snowmobile pricing is slowly moving me out of the sport - and I can afford it. I was all set to buy a new one about 45 days ago, had the Pro-S sold, but couldn't find anything to buy for reasonable price.

Just what I have seen on a high mile Canadian trip.

It's funny everybody is talking about the mach...what nobody is talking about is the low boost 130 hp turbo...ski doo is definitely trying to stay number one...and imo they are covering the 4 stroke market well...with 4 strokes for just about everbody...from the 600 ace to the mach z....that 130 hp low boost turbo is gonna be a great trail sled and gives people who are normally 600 class riders a new 4 stroke option...ski doo is going after the yamaha riders who didn't want or need 210 hp (the vector, viper apex guys)...if yamaha thinks simply putting eps on current models is gonna win people back...they are sadly mistaken..and will lose even more riders to ski doo. ..we'll see if rumors of an 800 two stroke in blue is coming..but honestly..why would u buy a blue cat 800 when u can get an 850 doo or poo?

Spot on Attak man! Perhaps your new ride too? I'm one of them who knew it was coming, and have been waiting on the "Low Boost", 120, 130hp Turbo Ace! Just the "all new, all Yamaha" sled that they expressed to me they were bringing out. It will fit me perfect, so much better than was the 1200.

Totally agree with that. Well said.

Like some on JD I used to buy a sled every year. I'm still riding my 2012 Apex XTX. Last year my son spring ordered a renegade XRS 850 etec. These last few days we have been breaking it in. I will say after riding his sled and getting an appetizer on Whitedust's enduro a couple years ago I will be ordering my first Doo ever. I have ordered Doo's in the past for my son when he was younger but the machine I always rode was a Yamaha. Nothing against other brands, but i felt Yamaha was a better fit for me and how I ride the best. I was so impressed with how my son's sled soaked up the bumps compared to my sled. We still have to dial in the front end but overall very pleased with the purchase and now after 10 years I'm making the move to doo myself...probably the Mach Z or Gade XRS

As soon as I walked up to my Enduro 900t on the Pipeline trail and saw your ear to ear grin I knew it was only a matter of time until ye ole Apex was being put out to pasture. I luved my 2012 Apex xtx too but fell in luv with doo 4s line up. If procross not for you it’s time to look at other brands. Doo has taken over the 4s market something for everyone. Whatever doo 4s model you Spring deal it will be exactly how you want it. Enjoy!

And just so you know...I'm not hating on yamaha...you guys know I loved my Apex XTX..You'll never hear me say a bad word about yamaha engines (and I enjoyed buying sleds from Pat's and Chad up at M&M)..but we have such a lousy yamaha dealer down here...and it got harder and harder for me to get up to Greenland (2 1/2 hour drive one way)...like all of you...got tired of waiting...and honestly bought a used 1200, and enjoy the heck out of it...the ride and handling is excellent (way better than my apex)...the only thing I missed was the EPS, and top speed (which I really don't care about anymore)..this 1200 would run with my apex to 80 mph..no problem, and out ride it and out handle it. I probably won't be buying anything new for couple years ...I'm gonna ride this 1200 for now.

Perhaps you'll get to test ride the new 130 T Ace and report?
