I was there years ago about 7-8 times during a temporary layover in the journey of my life.
Minnesota is also known as the land of 10,000 re-habs. I never did see the entire mall, my associates ( also on layover ) had to be gainfully employed, so they got jobs at " Camp Snoopy " we primarilary used to hang out and ride the amusement park rides for free. Like said above it's called something else now. There was an another place at that time called UnderWater World that was an indoor aquarium. You could spend 1 day visiting these 2 attractions alone. If you have kids that are small it would be an adventure.
If your kids are older ( like mine ) and your wife likes to shop wildly ( like mine ) I would recommend staying out of there unless your extremely wealthy. If my family found that place my wallet would take an extreme beating that MIGHT... cut into my snowmobile fund. The mall had 3 or 4 levels if I remember correctly. Now that I'm a little older I would probably forget where my car was parked ( LOL ). I wonder if Red Pine Mapping has that place on a GPS map ??? I must admit all joking aside, it is a unique place and would be an adventure, 2-3 days worth of looking & walking & eating and shopping if your into that stuff.
