Michigan Steak? Wisconsin Steak? Minnesota Steak?

Good food!

MICHIGAN-- Antler's Restaurant
804 E. Portage Ave.
Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783
Phone: (906) 253-1728
*awesome scenery and eclectic northwoodsy decor plus great food to boot!

WISCONSIN-- Lederer's Log Cabin Inn
226 Us Highway 45
Conover, WI 54519
(715) 479-2787
*been awhile since I ordered steak here but my buddies and I got dinner here a few times when it was Lederer's and it was excellent. New owners now and they have kept the same awesome pizza recipe so I am hoping their steaks are just as good too. we got the tenderest, biggest ribeye cut of steak with a skewer of shrimp for $19.95 if I remember. Worth a stop in to see.

MINNESOTA-- Axel's Charhouse inside the Radisson
2540 Cleveland Ave N
Roseville, MN 55113
http://www.axelsrestaurants.com/home
*this was our HAYDAYS hangout "FOR YEARS AND YEARS". The restaurant changed names a few times but has settled in on this Axles for awhile now. Unreal steaks done to perfection, professional city waitstaff and a bar that can mix or make any drink you want. The martinis are excellent. The bill for a steak dinner for two with 2 or 3 rounds of drinks may exceed $100 but it is well worth it.

Keep in mind only two of these locations you can sled to. I'm not sure if the OP intended to be able to sled to the restaurant but I would say that Antlers and Log cabin is a definite yes but I might wait till grasss drag season to try Axles in Roseville.

HONORABLE MENTION: Red Man Supper Club
HWY 45
Land O Lakes, WI 54540
(715) 547-3344

*And a shout out to a local fave of mine, the Red Man. Once in a lifetime salad experience and always perfectly cooked steak. I like the ribeye or New York strip. And don't leave without stopping at the bar and asking Jeff or Danny for an after dinner Brandy Alexander or Grasshopper.....oh shi*t the dreamcicle is good too.

For WI, Blink Bonnie in St Germain tied with Red Man in Lando. Long, long wait at Blink Bonnie. In MI, haven't found a good one yet around Marquette, Ishpeming or Munising. I'm from Chicago so I'm pretty particular.

I don't know about Red Man, but the wife and I did Blink Bonnie's last Friday 1/27 and the 20 Oz. T-Bone was awesome. We got there at 4:45pm and the crowds didn't arrive until about 6:00pm. A cocktail before being seated with a window view of the snow falling in the woods. Get there early and you won't face the 2 hour wait - they open at 4:00pm. Be careful about seasonality - they close after Thanksgiving for a month and again in April.

I think Murry's butter knife has wone the most yrs in msp mag for best steak and I have to agree.and for a old school steak house I will go with Tomk and say Lindy's just had the lunch special there a few weeks ago had not been in there in yrs and had to stop in.

Manny's is always on my list who dose not love a place that halls your meat out on a cart so you can pick it out.
Murray's and Manny's will both set you back a couple hundo with dinner and drinks but worth it for celebrations.
I still cringe thinking about the tab I picked up at Manny's a few yrs back for a 10 person birthday party for my wife cost me more than a trip west 1st class

Skylar, did you know that the Portage, Wis. Iron skillet (truck stop) has all you can eat Prime Rib and shrimp on Saturday evening for $13.99. looked really good! "Cadillac Jim" got hooked up on a to go box of Prime rib. He said it was great. I did the "subway" $5 special. Jim got the better deal.
