Mileage vs. Hours

Why I continue this debate with a certain poster, I have no idea. The highest you hit was 112, and 26 miles in 14 minutes is 111.4 mph average; not buying it. Thats not BS, thats SS (Sasquatch sh..)

2015 SR Viper, 2974 miles to date, 133.1 hours. 22.3 mph average. Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and South Dakota trails and off-trail combined. Not many railroad grades or lakes involved.

Maybe less average mph, but a whole lotta smiles per mile!

This thread made me curious so I checked the Assault today: 4 winters, 603 miles, 34 hours. 150.75 miles/per year @ avg. speed of 17.74 mph.

I have some other sleds that may be diluting the total miles that I put on this sled but for sure, it says I'm old AND slow.

Hitting the like button for old and slow

These things have hour gauges too? :fat:

Relatively certain you missed the sarcasm.

yes it was sarcasm....but is also true...and I have a go pro film to prove it on me channel....26 miles in 14 minutes or something like it....from bigbay to ford road in 14 minutes....then from ford road to the CANTINA in 25 minutes or something there aboots....I got a call from the DNR about people complaining how fast I was going in me film and not being on the right side and how animals were hurt in the making of this film and so I modified the speed I posted in my film and shortened it up and edited it to make it look good and safe and slower....I wasn't alone either and aboot 8 guys were with me and did the same...I think I showed youse guys that film before....no BS grant....the highest speed I hit was 112 on the road....triple A.....boogity boogity boogity

PS....we did that run a lot and one time I got to ford road after running aboot 105 for all 14 minutes....shut off the sled....there was a strange eerie orange glow coming from my F7...we lifted the hood....it had melted a 3 inch hole in the frame behind the clutch.....ask bob at adventure centre....I think its still on the wall of shame as a badge of honor...and not the 1st time either...triple X one time my frame melted running lake freeman in Monticello Indiana at 104 from the sand bar all the way to tall timbers and the dam and back again...melted aboot 421 highway bridge....true dat[/QUOTE]

Track-ster.....I just read that story to the wife sitting on a deck, 78 degrees - Key West.
More drunken debauchery scheduled for later.
I’m not doubting you anymore. Contact Guinness Book of World Records.
Boogity boogity boogity....LGRB!

I checked grant and its actually 20.04 miles....like I said...or something there aboots since I don't get out my surveyors wheel when I do this at those speeds....so that average you figured is lower...don't get ya panties all bunched GRASSHOPPER...lol....I was estimating from memory and it was years ago....but I do have a film and that will leave a mark.....DOH

20 miles, not 26. So also figure the time was rounded down to 14 from 16. Now all of a sudden the average speed is 75 mph; kinda changes things.

Makes one wonder if there are other measurements that have been overestimated!

Tracker doesn't sound Asian....give him a break....he just works in the "aerospaced" industry.

Talking about high MPH. I can tell you who is telling the truth when they start posting MPG. A parts list would also be pretty big.
