OK, went to Applebee's for early bird dinner, now at home surfing the web and playing 2 suite spider solitaire while my wife is doing "teacher stuff" in the other room. Daughter is having 2 friends over and they are decorating cookies in the basement. Hope I make it up till midnight.

I put kids to bed. Talk a little smack online, do a shot of NyQuil, and probably be sleeping by 11.

My high point I'd trying to fit my gear in my klim pack into my new bca22 turbo avy pack. Yes life has come to this. Oh and a little bushmills on the rocks.

You have the 22 or the 25 turbo?

If it's the 25 turbo, where the heck is the leg strap? The wife bought me the 25 and it came today. But I can't find the strap that goes through the crotch and back up to waist belt. BCA says it's permanently mounted on one end to waist strap.

New Years just like I like it. Hangin' with my wife and boys. Watched a couple movies. Got to have a few beers and not worry about driving. My wife made a big supper. Now just waiting for the ball to drop in New York, and send the boys to bed. I like nights like this, just time with the 3 most important people in my life.

Watched the first two periods of the Wings game, then "How To Save Your Dragon 2" with the wife and granddaughters Now the Orange Bowl. I gave up making a big deal of the year's last Amateur Night quite a while ago. :)

Pizza!?! Lucky dogs. Wife went to bed hours ago (box-O-wine). I found some forgotten brownies left over from Christmas. And some Makers Mark.

Any hash in them there brownies? ;)

I'm too cheap. Besides it's only 3 miles from home so I get it when it comes out of the oven, bring it home and everyone's eating it long before the delivery driver would get it here.

Doesn't Domino's still have free delivery? They did when I worked there way back in the day....still, have to agree with you that being that close you'd probably get it quicker and hotter by picking it up.

Well Happy New Year to all you other 112 people with nothing more to do that hang out in this online club. Must say, it's not bad staying home with family rather than taking my chances driving around town.
