Most Uneventful New Years Eve

The wife was in bed by 10 and I spent the night watching heavy equipment and snowplow vids til 2. I saw one vid of Fendt tractor doing some crazy plowing on a hillside road somewhere in Europe, they like their tractors over there compared to trucks like over here.

Ever since I worked in the service industry a couple decades ago in my prime party days, I have not done much on New Year Eve as I always had to work both the eve and day.

I enjoy the kicking back before the art race starts up again in the new year.

Happy and safe New Year to everyone!

New years is overrated. Its just another night, just another day. No big deal.

Maybe for you. It's a day off for millions. The ending point and starting point for millions. A day to gauge what you have accomplished and what you want to accomplish going forward.

I hear ya. I was laying down til about 10 pm then got up watch the ball drop on tv at 11 central time. Wife fell asleep 15 minutes after that. I was on the computer til about 12:30 central time then went to bed. Big difference from when i was in my 20's. A lot of years i had to play drums in a band for a bar or something and it was party central. Didnt mind or care i was doing nothing.

What?? Nobody went out and wooped it up?? Yeah, it's amateur night. Got together with a bunch of great friends and had too good of a time at a local establishment. Stayed in one of their cabins, so didn't have to drive anywhere. (Oh, my head) Bad thing is, we woke up and had breakfast there and ended up watching the Badgers WIN!! Great time. Happy New Year Everyone.
