One service I look at, now shows 7 to 13 inches between Thursday night to Friday night for Eagle Riv. Rain showers moving in now?

NBC Rhinelander moved their heavy snow target graphic a bit east which is exactly where I would want it over north Forest County and Iron River MI. WOW!!... that would be perfect for me to ride alone if necessary and groomers in those areas are very good thanks to 3 lakes,WI and Iron County MI. Dry twisty area as well for the most part full of hills mix of hardwoods and pine forest ...low traffic.... no place to stay ...neat area but remote. It does sound like a 3 day snow storm also typical of this area.

Say WD it looks as if NOAA moved the big snow a little south, and east!!! That should be right where you want it!!! Can't wait to see where John has it, I'll go with him. Good luck, and be safe!!!

What does it feel like knowing with a hit of a key pad you will make or break people's day LOL! All kidding aside thanks for the good reports all winter. And looking forward to see what happens with this storm!

Well, there certainly is pressure! I woke up at 2:30 this morning and could not get back to sleep. My mind was racing with all the potential new things I might see in the forecast when I work up.

The bright side is I awoke to 3" of new snow and my day starts a little after 4 am anyway!

As of 7 AM, Eagle River 4 E had 0.9 inches; South - 0.6. Boulder - 0.5. Looks like my 5-6" prediction was waaay off. Lovely, just lovely.

If the storms are always missing you...the answer isn't praying for a change in luck. The answer is to move. If you find yourself sitting in a synoptic wasteland - move out of it. Move further north. Move to the UP. Move to the Keweenaw. For god's sake - don't hope to get lucky...luck sucks. You want to get to where the storm is the default. A place like the keweenaw. Preferably above 1,000 feet elevation. That last 400 feet of elevation really matters more than you know.
