Ran into this groomer at the Big Spring Inn. Really great guy. Was nice to talk with & trails were great.

Thats the Seney John Deere that is reported to be down state getting repaired. Axle bearing I believe. It sent metal shaving in to the trans.
I saw that posted on their trail report.

Rode Tues thru Fri and trails were overall very good with a few exceptions. Seen groomers night and day. Met Seney groomer east of Wetmore on 8 Fri morning. Trail was trashed an hour later coming back from our crazy 8 loop. Must have met 200 sleds in 30 miles. Most people would assume the trail had not been groomed in days. There is no way to stay ahead of that kind of traffic! Without daytime grooming, these trails would become brutally mogulled quickly. Thank you to all involved in making these trails as good as they are!

groomers out tonight. Sounds like things are really coming together.
One issue. Some one took a bull dozer down 422 miners castle trail between m28 and h58. Looks like it is down to dirt.
So frustrating some one would do this. Should have more news tomorrow.

"muni sing": Funny, that. Whenever I see or hear "Munising", that's exactly the image that comes to mind: A small UP town where everyone comes out to da bandshell

for a "Muni(cipal) Sing", a community songfest. :joyous:

Hope we get the 3 to 4 inches that are forecast. Snowing right now pretty good. Dubie Groomers arranged for a loaner New Holland tractor. It is in route now to Shingleton Tanglewood from Seney. I believe Andy Dubie is the one running it. It will then head over to Wetmore. Will be pics and stuff on the FB page. Trails should be in really good shape for this weekend. It will be out and about.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
