My band

Hey guys!! Just played a huge show at a local band fest and it was the coolest thing ever. My band is called "nothing yet" and we have a YouTube channel that I would love if you guys checked us out. Search BandNothingYet for our channel. We play covers of rock but it helps to get your name out because it is how we find places to play at. There are some older videos of us playing when we first started, but the videos titled street fest sound way better. If anybody knows of any bars or places to play in the Chicago area suburbs please send me a PM! Btw I play the drums...

Did you play at the 95.1 WIIL Rock the Ranch?

No I really wanted to go to that because I really like all that remains and just started listening to volbeat...I have a lake house down the street so we always walk up the road for country thunder

Nice. Lucky to find a good frontman who can sing and play.

Yes erza that is us and my brother is the front man...we had a little mess up at the start of that song but we literally learned it the day before we played

"Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)". Does indeed have a sweet keyboard intro. If you learn it and video it, I'd like to see it!

Nice work. I missed my opportunity learn music when I was young and kick myself for it to this day. Wish I had stuck it out and got the basics down. Oh well..., maybe someday again as a hobby...

This is exactly how I wanted to learn music because I've never been in a school band and I love to play music most likely because of that. He figured out how to play the intro because I swear my brother has some crazy music gift, but I don't know how to put it on here without uploading to YouTube. It's kinda like that dream when your young to one day be known around your community and play on big stages

Right now, in the Chicago area, there are about five bands that play EVERY outdoor fest in the summer: American English, Infinity, Hi Infidelity, ARRA, and 7th Heaven. The first one is a Beatles band. They are ok, but if you've seen them once, it's enough for a long time. The middle 3 play the EXACT same songs over and over:Livin on a prayer, Don't stop believing, Summer of 69, Jessie's Girl, etc. 7th Heaven does their own thing, but they play literally 5 nights a week in the area. Their big thing is this "30 songs in 30 minutes" thing or something like that. It is all getting OLD. If you guys can find a group of songs that are popular but NOT the same damn WLUP and The Drive songs that everyone else plays, you can do alright in the summer fest scene, as well as the bar circuit. People like me who love outdoor fests are tired of the same thing every weekend and would love to see some new talent.
