My talk about tile laying wasn't a personal jab, I have actually did my first tile job this past fall and I used a lot of what the tile layers have said over the years. I think if anyone was complaining about the amount of useful information on this board than they are waaay smarter than me.

No jab taken :) I always will help a fellow JDee'r out if I can.

That is a great "MY first new post ever" that I have read in a very long time! but again, I am kinda new around here ;)

also being new to the threads, i will say that even in some of the negative ones, there is positive things that can be learned, for example, if just one person doesnt tresspass after the 15 page thread on the issue, it will have had a "positive" effect, or if 1 person learned something about grooming in that 15 page thread(I DID) that helps understand how diffiucult it is, then it will have a "positive outcome".

so even though the threads can get testy, and have some negativity..if its constructive in its discussion, then it will end up "positive" and its darn good reading and fun to participate..

I was more of a Houghton area but yeah I was at Chassel sometimes, the big hill in South Range (wheelkate maybe?). It is true that a negative thread can have a positive response, never thought of it that way.
