just kidding. i got this shed for free. i closed up the existing doorway on the 10 foot wide side and cut 2 new doorway's on the 8 foot wide sides and i now have a free drive through shed. it's a little rough but i already have some nice exterior paint and i'm gonna go to menards to get my supplies for the doors. it's officially called Scott's Sled Shed.. i'm 14 n 1/2 but i have my own 8x10 sled garage

that's actually him in the last picture helping me out! he hated this idea! my mom was the one that let me do it. i hate having to take my sled off our enclosed trailer all the time and my mom would get annoyed listening to me annoy my dad to take it off. so she told my dad we should make something and at my mom's work a lady 1 block away from us (lol) had an 8x10 shed for free and fortunately we just bought a 2nd trailer that's 8.5x10 and we went and got it. i'm painting it tomorrow morning and going to menards to get a good tarp for the doors.

the funny part is my dad had his own little sled shed when he was younger but yet my dad said "i don't want an eye sore sitting outside!!" and my mom said "well honey, what did you have when you were a kid?" and i just burst out laughing

Your not kidding INDY, you dont have to hide the truth from us. Its tough out there, and we know it! You should really take it on a road trip as see how many smiles you get.

Hey Indy, once you get a coat of paint on it and a foot of snow on top it will look just great. Put some fancy Polaris stickers on the side and maybe an Indy flag on a pole and your dad will want to move his sled in with yours. Good luck!

we picked out brown paint. nice exterior stuff that can be applied at 32 degrees. it was a can that was mixed with the wrong color so it was $12. i'm gonna paint polaris and maybe the logo and "scott's sled shed" on it with white exterior paint. i got the tarps. $1.75 each. i bought 4 and they're brown. i'm gonna double them up. hang them from the 2x4 mounted frame around the doorway and at the bottom i'm gonna attach a 2x4 for weight. i'm almost done! tomorrow morning i'll put the paint on. then when it's dry, i'll mount my tarp doorways. then i'll go crazy with the inside. maybe some custom shelves. maybe a radio...lol i don't know yet

thanks for the compliments

i got more pictures. i got the whole shed painted included the panels for the doors. and i got the frames for the doors made. all i need to do tomorrow is attach the painted panels to the frame and put the new hinges on and attach it to the shed, put some handles on, and figure out some kind of lock.

and if it ever warms up i'll put on the second coat. i actually do kind of like the "weathered look" without a second coat. but i'll probably get another coat on soon. enjoy
