My trailer. Decision made....

Right or wrong here is what I ended up with. Cheap enough. Should last me a real long time. Wasn't going to spend 6-7k on the front ramp for inline. Don't have any UTV's. Just wanted to haul two sleds and keep them clean. Aluminum wheels 12". Can't wait to be headed north!! IMG_20151107_164358407.jpg IMG_20151107_164514755.jpg

NICE!! Yep same configuration I would buy without side door. I found the more doors you have the more possiblities of water leakage even fuel doors. How much did this set you back?

4k plus tax. Nice thing is in MN you can put the permanent registration on it. One and done. That side door is a big plus for me. Wife was on board because we are building a house and I told her we could store stuff in there plus use it to aid in the move.... If you look there are channels above all the doors like eve troughs to help keep water out. Just like the no rust and light weight of this style.

Sweet... always good when wife on board too..For your storage use side door is a must.... did the $4k include the slides too?

Very nice trailer! I was considering the same trailer in the same color but ended up buying 7x23 inline about 2 weeks ago. I will try to post pictures soon. I'm waiting until I get my ski guides installed.

Very nice trailer! I like the idea of the stationary top. I have had problems over the years with different flip ups as they get some age on them. Then there is the snow that piles up on them that has to be cleared before you can lift the thing, what a pita. My next trailer will be along those lines.

I ordered same ting with extra axel . only 700 bucks extra .only things I don't like about trailer are the rear ramp/door has 0 clearance to deck when closed I for see snow and ice being a issue there nothing a saw cant fix .I may do some rubber likr triton has on that joint .and other is triton uses galv axel vrs painted steel . I also liked the large triton f door better other wise cant top the price I am kicking out $4900 + 50 bucks delivery and 340tax
Whitedust I don't get the leaking part so what if the door drips some water on to a all weather deck? what is going to happen.

A buddy and I each purchased the same trailer a week ago from Hanna south of Milwaukee, nice to deal with. A lot of trailer for the money. We have a 4 place Triton for the major runs north. The new 2 place will allow me more flexibility around home and quick trips north. With the winter forecast looking uncertain, figured it might take a little more driving this year to get the job done.

Just curious what ski guides are you using? I am picking up a new trailer in a few weeks and would like to compare my research.

I am looking at Caliber low pro grip glides or a set from Super glides II pros from super clamp
It appears the Caliber is a little less $$

Thanks

the guy that owns caliber is a good guy gives lots of door prizes to clubs etc for fund raisers.
fyi the guides in the sno pro/mission are caliber

Caliber lowpro 8" wide, for both front and rear ramp. I'm also putting 6 caliber grips on each ramp for traction. I had them on my other two trailers and really liked them. Nothing on the inside of the trailer right now anyways.

On my united expressline at the fuel door the side board plywood has darkened due to some water leakage at fuel door. I thought I needed fuel door but never used it in 12 years so next time I'll get less doors as I almost always go in from rear drop ramp. Front access and rear ramp doors don't leak at all just the fuel door. I also have plastic top air vent and will never get that again either mostly JB weld at this point in time. In my experience I'll go with less options since only store sleds in my trailers so basics better for me.

very nice setup slimcake. We have same setup with guides, which works great, just remember when loading sleds those plastic runners are awfully slick! I have had plenty of slips and outright falling on my A@@ with those.

Hi Joe,
Have owned Caliber for the past 6 or so different Triton tilt clamshell trailers I have purchased but just bought a new Stealth 19 ft with the Super glides 2 pro. Why? Two reasons; I am tired of falling on my *** when the trailer is tilted and two, I now drive my UTV up the ramp. The glides have the notches that aid in traction. They are more expensive but my Ski-Doo dealer in G.B. gave me a nice deal when I bought the trailer there too.
