We have three couples that have been going to lakewoods for our annual trip. We are looking for someplace new for this year in northern wi or the up. Looking to stay at a resort or cabin. Must halves are 1. hot tub for after riding 2.at least 3 bedrooms and bathrooms so no awkward moments with someone other than your spouse. other than that we are flexible. thanks for the help!:)

We went to Lake Gogebic in the Western U.P. last year and rented a four bedroom home with three baths. Google Lake Gogebic and you will find a bunch of lodging sites. We usually do not get a hot tub, but several of the homes have them.

Curtis Michigan has the same lodging for homes also.

The Budget Host Inn in St. Ignace has a pool as well as a hot tub and is only a block or two off the trail. They also have shuttle service to the Casino if you're feeling lucky.

Not sure what you need for hot tub? Do you want a 1 person tub with jets or are you looking for a 4-6 man hot tub or a public whirlpool in a pool area? Public whirlpool in a pool area is easy but 4-6 man hot tub in a cabin is rare indeed & your#1 requirement?

a public whirlpool would be fine.
Konteka in White Pine,UPMI comes to mind just reserve 3 adjoining rooms & you have your 3 bathrooms. Ask for 3 rooms by the whirlpool & sauna room & you will have the whirlpool to yourselves since small motel with huge parking area & gas pumps. Also has small bar & bowling alley with large dinning room area. Very nice place for couples & familes. Eagle River,WI area also has many choices for you very difficult to pick 1 there over the others you need to surf their websites see what you like all have trail access.

you could not pay me to jump in a public hot tub.all that white foam filled with god knows what body fluids floating around your mouth.2 person in the back yard with locks on the cover for me

I know you said resort or cabin, but check out Acorn Lodge and Motel in Boulder Junction Wi. They have indoor pool and hot tub. Motel style rooms, some with whirlpool baths. Located on main street so walking distance to restaurants/bars. Easy ride to Lando and up into U.P. or head in any other direction like down towards sayner/st.germain. Gas station down the street. Everything is there and great "up north" shops in town for the ladies if they so choose. Also, place is very clean with nice owners. Have fun!

How about one of the ski resorts? Big Powderhorn (they have trail access) or Blackjack ( trail 11 goes right by) Ski area's.

Western U.P. Indianhead Mountain is also close by and trail 11 is next to it on the bottom.

If the season is like last year you have the option to ski.

if N MN gets snow I for 1 think the trail ridding In Longville Hackensack Walker is Hard to beat. lots of twisty woods to marsh to lake a few loging roads deff not the super highway stuff.some grade if u want to make tracks. lots of sm towns so u never have to go more than 40min with out a stop if u wish.I have never seen a cop on the trail in 30yrs.
if I dont want to rough it at my 3 season cabin in longville or just dont want to drive back at night I stay at at northern lights Casino in Walker they have a pool & spa if u wish nice rooms tons of parking .nice town for shopping for the other half.

I say again hard to beat the trails in those parts.if I am going to get stuck on a trail only trip it is always my 1st choice

................Yes Indianhead Mountain is a great place to stay! They have a nice swimming pool and hot tub. There are live bands that play there on most weekends, one band has this awesome drummer named George...
