Please correct me if I'm wrong but, doesn't the Denali come with the 6.0? Totally different set up. Don't want to question you but I've owned 4 Suburbans and never got better than 16 - 17 mpg with the 350 or 327 motor. Highway or city.

not towing, no kids, around 20 mpg any make or model

What will you use it for, if not towing , no kids, is a Toyota Rav4 or Honda CRV too small?
Toyota Highlander or Honda Pilot would be some others to consider.

Guess it just depends on how much interior room you need.

A friend of mine drives a Rav4 4wd with a V6 (rated @ 269hp) and gets mid-20's (mpg) and has a tow capacity of 3500# if ever needed.

I sure wouldn't get a Suburban unless need that much seating and was going to tow something.

Great vehicle. No problems thus far 85,000 miles. I get average 20MPG, but I do a lot of highway driving. If i was in the city I'm sure it would be 16 or 17. Tows great. Pulling maily two and three place opens, and occasionly 3 place fully enclosed. Gas while towing not the greatest but it has a smooth ride.

x2, My family doesn't own one, but an inline 6 with 270 hp? That's more than my dads 02 5.4L F-150!
