On a positive note, I was pleased to see (or almost see[SUP]1[/SUP]
) the new third row of icons in the message composition window for inserting and modifying tables, inserting horizontal lines, and for formatting superscripts and subscripts.
In the previous forum version, I was generally able to do superscripts and subscripts by using the
MS Windows Character Map, but inserting horizontal lines was a challenge, and inserting/manipulating tables was even more of a nuisance. 'Tis nice to finally be able to do those functions directly in the message composition window.
However, I note that the whitespace issue strikes again in tables: The table rows are far too tall for the font used, and I have not found a way to adjust the row height, even using the table properties.
