New helmet

I am looking for a new helmet that works good with scott 87 / 89 xi and recoil goggles . Something that seals well and is a good bang for the buck . I wear a balaclava and use a breath box in my current HJC helmet . I get a little fogging in extreme cold but would like something that works better . Dont want to change goggles as i have a few pairs along with multiple lenses . Any certain lenses that work better than others ?

Thanks .

best bet bring your goggles and a leaf blower to the helmet store and start trying them out.
my fave is a fly f2 carbon after trying on last yr nice and light and cheep. keeping the klim for the warmer days but liking the light weight

The FXR Blade series helmets fit Scott Goggles very well! As Ezra said though, every face is different so the seal changes a bit. Just don't bring the leafblower to the dealership. They may frown on that a bit.

If you go to the Scott website. On the left hand side menu in the goggles page you will find 3 options for a filter while choosing goggles. Overcast, Sunny & Medium Light. Then you can pick through the results and see what lens color works. Back in the day the websites had user friendly charts to look at. If you google lens tint guide you will get images of charts that can help too. I wear the Oakley Air Brakes. Sunny days-Fire Iridium. Partly Cloudy-Blue Iridium. Overcast/Cloudy Snow-High Intensity Yellow.
