Let us know how 10" works out for ya on 500. May have to ask Mom & Dad to let you grind them in the street like Scott Bergstrom.

Take a look @ Bergstrom skegs website you would get a kick out watching video of Scott riding his sled down neighborhood streets in summer to show how well his carbides wear.lol

The USI X2's are awsome. Tunable to your liking and work great in all conditions! They did lots of testing with the Yamaha and this ski! In combination with a shaper bar and you can't go wrong!!!

I slapped some precision doo ski's on my old phazer Mtn lite and major improvement, that thing darted like a pro bar cricket tournament, not with the doo ski's it didn't

Only thing I can say about the USI is that quite a few people complained about the steering effort. It may be all in the setup but it has been discussed. I did A LOT of research on skis and ended up going with what I feel was the best all around set up, Curve XS and 6" rounds (I'm running an unstudded XTX). A lot of guys really like the Curve XS with the triple points also. Your best bet is to got to TY4stroke and do some reading there in the FX Nytro forum. There is A TON of information there.

Brit: Instead of using a round host bar like traditional carbides a shaper bar uses almost an H pattern. It allows your carbide to work well on ice, host bar on hard snow and keel on the ski for all the snow! Only carbides I will spend my money on!

With the USI you can make them as aggressive or forgiving as you like (shaper plates, three mount locations and different stage fin kits). Just remember that any time you go to a different ski the rear suspension should be set up a bit different. This typically allows you to relieve your limiter strap setting and add a bit of preload to your front arm shock!
