Not all new sleds don't have good belt storage. I know you have a Cat, but the new Axys from Poo has the best belt and plug storage I've ever seen from the factory. Someone was thinking when they came up with that. I tried posting a link with no luck, but Google it.

Skinz makes a bag for belt storage that you can mount under your hood.

ok that's not too bad...looks like an XF CAT too...have you seen any like the metal clip style of old? does the bag melt? how many miles you put on with that bag on? it does look easy to access in a pinch which is nice and under the hood keeps it dry and warm sorta and lessens the getting wet then drying out over and over thing....thanx CAMPERTIME

o man post that link if ya can pls. as I am limited....all you do is get that site back up with the article...then put pointer over address...now right click...choose COPY...now respond to this...put pointer in blank maybe 2 lines under quote....right click....choose PASTE....and this last part...which everyone omits but is super important....is then after the address is there before you move anything....hit ENTER ENTER...twice....this moves the line down and auto highlites the address blue so we can all click on it....does that help MSPEASE...and thanx

I will try that, but I know how to do it as I've done it many times. I have tried several times, and for some reason, it doesn't work for me on this site. It's made for a Poo, but may work on other sleds also.

I tried it your way above and that didn't work either. Sorry!

Nope, don't use that. I do this all the time and only have issues on this site. I just did it several times this morning.

Thanks united! The second pic was the one I found when I Googled it and was trying to post it. Great design for the space they have to work with IMO. The first pic shows it even better with the GPS unit for the IDD gauge in the background.

It's also pretty neat how they lock the holder in place with the spark plug wrench!

I don't use the bag I have a belt holder on my sled... just giving you an option.

you can rivet velcro to an open area like this...

add a channel in your seat foam like this...

Just google... snowmobile belt holder... you will get tons of images showing you peoples ideas.

that's a shame...you should....that would fix the problem...and FYI...when you take your puter into BEST BUY and pay the geek squad to clean and fix your machine....they use CCLEANER (theres a free version too) and SPYBOT (free version as well) and then charge you 150.00 for something you can do for free yourself...PS if your puter has a real bad virus then they use MALWAREBYTES....which is free also...of course best buy has all the paid versions which makes your machine TOOT SWEET.....me....I use 2 of those...not SPYBOT though. well good luck MSPEASE hope you get it figured out cause I know that's frustrating

Had a 2012 XF1100 Turbo, carried my spare belt zip tied to the belly pan below the clutches. Tight fit that's why I drilled a small hole to tie it down so it couldn't bounce up and hit the clutch. It worked for me. Now ride a Skidoo which has the space for the spare belt built into the clutch guard. Another reason why Skidoo is number one, they do the details well.
