very nice job but why in the heck r u making it out of steel that things going to weigh to much before u even get the sleds on it. if i were going thru all the effort and expence to build the ultimite sled trailer id make it out of alluminum not to mention all the rust to deal with in a few yrs

I'm thinking this going to haul a lot more than just sleds. Dozers, backhoes, tractors, small houses!

That is a good plan. No reason to make it a single use trailer.
Nice clean build so far. We used to make trailers in the shop at home so this is a very interesting thread. As a kid I spent a lot of time cutting steel, stick welding and grinding.
