New Trail 109?

The state grooming tracking is handled by the state and GTS trails. We also use Groomer Tracker, I believe the only club in WI right now, and that can be used with most any phone or service.

Does anyone know why 109 isn't open anymore south of Alston? That used to be a fun trail down to 12.
Yeah a land owner pulled the plug for trespassing and I really miss that trail.

It was actually atv trespassing, not snowmobilers

If you are implying that I was assuming it was a "snowmobiler" you are incorrect, the implication was that it was "trespassing" that caused the landowner to restrict access to his land, I will however say I highly doubt it was a singular incident or even if it was it doesn't matter if it was a atv, a side by side, a snowmobile or bozo the f'n clown on a unicycle, someone thought they had endless access to "his" property not "our" property and he did not approve it. Can't be upset with the landowner here. it's the select ramrod idiot few that end up ruining it for the rest of us.

Trail closing
Does anyone know if the Alston Trail in Twin Lakes will be open for the snowmobiling season? (trail 109) Currently there are locked gates that have been erected in the last week or so. Also no trespassing signs have been erected. Is this part of the trail private property or a seasonal road...

That makes my skin crawl. It's not like new trails are coming available and I just can't imagine why people are so entitled they can't appreciate what they have in on these trails. It's an incredible opportunity to take advantage of the opportunity to be up there. I wish there was a way to fix stupid.
