Cutler plus pressure = bad things. More so than other QB's. He seems to just wing it up there a lot instead of throwing it into the ground or out of bounds.

Throwing it away is something QB coaching has been trying to burn into Cutler's head. Cutler has a live arm & he thinks he sees an open man so can hit him when heat is in his face. He has to throw it away but time after time he forces the ball & gets picked. In comparison to 1 of the best Rogers got picked when the heat was on too I was really surprised how subpar he looked in loss to Bears & Lions. Cutler throwing ball away is a good thing but who knows what he will do if he thinks burner White gets separation the ball is going in his direction imo. I don't believe "The Gunslinger" in Cutler can be surpressed at least seems to be the norm for him.

Good Centers are tough to come by, not easy to trade for one but im sure pace is trying everything he can

Maybe Whitehair can be #2 center get some work in now might find a home there for 10 years who knows? Grasu is a long shot to start at center next year could be over before he had a shot....it happens in NFL. I'm not writing Grasu off but reality sucks when a serious injury strikes a guy that touches the ball on every down.

Good thing is todays medical practices will allow him to come back at 100% or stronger. He will still get a chance. I think pace drafted whitehair to be the guard for 10 years but ya never know. They need to be like the patriots on the Oline, where every guy can play every position and there is always some one ready to come in. They are by far the best at this and it is a big under talked about reason for bradys success. even when banged up that pats have great Oline play.

YIKES! Da Bears looked horrible last night in first preseason game and hope they don't get worse if that is possible? Whitehair did play 2nd string center but made high & wide snaps so better hope Larsen stays in for entire season. Bears a very young team & looked it last night. John Madden predicted Bears had worst line up in NFL...lol...I sure hope he is wrong.

Bears front 7 looked good and tough, otherwise they struggled. As expected Oline has work to do.

Cant put much into pre-season games.

I know game plans are out the window in preseason just line up see how rookies can execute basic plays even with knowing that it was difficult to see anything promising in game 1. White, Jordan, Fylod didn't show me much...maybe Flyod did show some rush spin speed repeatedly but 1 trick pony so far in game 1. Fales stunk maybe time to say bye bye with Hoyer #2. IDK what the NFL needs to do to give the young guys a chance to showcase their skills but preseason games should be 2 maybe 3 at most just terrible football games.

Vikes new O-line no match for Cincy starting D. Looks like more of the same for Vikes this season. They will win some games but not in the top 10 like Cincy is. Still some work to do.

Preseason games I viewed SUCKED just not NFL quailty football. I say line then all up at home training camp & let them beat the chit out of each other live then 1-2 preseason games then rock & roll with in season games. Anyone else think this way? Your thoughts.

Pre season sux, but good way for them to evaluate players to make 53 man roster. Otherwise yea wish they would do away with a few games

Pre season will never be done away with,, to much $ to make.
They may knock a preseason game or two off the schedule only if the league gets in return the additional game or two on the regular season schedule.
this league is such a joke,,,, in one breath they claim to be all about player safety and that is evident with all the new rules with kickoffs and basically not being able to touch a qb or "defenseless" players yet in the same breath they push for extra games to make more players susceptible to injuries. Your can't have your cake and eat it too Roger.

I agree they do contradict themselves.

im thinking they will go down to 2 pre-season games but add 2 regular season games in future. They may also add 2 more playoff teams which =more games=more money

Not even sure its all goodell, as he works for the owners. They don't want to take a revenue cut by losing a home game.

Back end of season will get more viewers. They will expand the playoffs before they do anything else.

No only if they don't report for interview by Goodell. Nothing to hide then be interviewed just like Peyton did.

Have not been able to view game yet but score was close read Hoyer stunk may not make the team.....he must have been really bad to get write ups like that!lol

I read the same, he maynot make the team if he doesn't pick it up

Bears were up 11-0 when I stopped watching, cutler moved ball well, Langford jammed it in, then converted 2 point conversion pass to TE. was pretty pleased with what I saw. o line gave cutler time and he looked good, was 8-12 and white dropped an easy 10 yard gain hit him right in hands.

But once again doesn't mean much, just happy the oline could stop the pats pass rush
