MnUSA Region 8 to host Snowmobile Gear Up & Go Show
October 15-17, 2009, Brookdale Center

For the first time in nearly 20 years, there will be no snowmobile show at the Minneapolis Convention Center. For MnUSA Region 8, that meant the loss of its annual MnUSA Region 8 Snowmobile Swap, an event that is a fundraiser for the west metro clubs and, even of greater importance, the loss of this metro Snowmobile Event. The clubs in MnUSA's Region 8 decided this was not the time to give up on promoting snowmobiling in their region. MnUSA Region 8 is proud to announce its own Snowmobile Gear Up & Go Show which will be held October 15-17, 2009, at Brookdale Center, Brooklyn Center, off Hwy 100 just south of I694.

The show will include snowmobile dealers, vendors along with the MnUSA Region 8 Snowmobile Swap. The “Snowmobile Swap” is a place for dealers and individuals to have Region 8 sell their new or used, non-current clothing and parts and accessories at very good prices. Region 8 takes a commission on sales and puts money back into local trails.
Show Hours: Thursday 10/15 1-9 p.m.
Friday 10/16 1-9 p.m.
Saturday 10/17 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Admission: MnUSA Region 8 will be supporting the local food shelf with a food drive
$2 plus a food shelf donation
Children 12 and under free with parent
MnUSA members free - Show your card and bring a food shelf donation
For questions or to request vendor information, contact Nancy at 612-802-9570.

Swap Meet Contract Open Item
Dealers and individuals are welcome to participate in the Swap Meet. For information, see contract.

I can't believe this would actually be held at the mall! Possibly the early Brown center. Anyone know?

On the upside the parking will be free, and the mall has lots of open space for vendors. Do try to remember to bring your kevlar though.

as skidont said it will be at the mall in one of the closed stores. Not a bad idea, I am guessing they got the space pretty darn cheap for the couple days.

Most of the new sleds are there from all 4 manufacturers! We could not afford to launch the show again at the Convention Center, as it's too expensive...that's why Ehlert Publishing pulled the plug.

We are open today from 1-9pm and tomorrow 10am to 8pm...the admission is now $1 or a non-perishable food item for Non-MnUSA members, who get in free by showing their card.

Any questions can be emailed to me directly at: mdahlqu@yahoo.com

Thanks!
