I don't doubt we'll get snow but I think it's gonna be little too late for much of anything.
Wiped sled down other days and packed away in trailer.....guess we'll see in 3 weeks if it's for good or not.

I’ll go north for a week if conditions improve but Solar angles in 2 weeks will be much higher. I’m hoping for the best but losing faith in this El Niño season just no consistency to cold and snow so a base can be held and groomed. In the past we always had 3 “ here and there and many 7 inchers to build on. This year a big dump and the scramble is on then warmup and melts.

We will see from experience cold waves lose their punch from early January to middle of February never good to start all over again and expect anything but the same situation all over again with higher solar angles. For me March never worked out living in Phelps for 16 years. Lots of 20 inch snow storms in April that did nothing but slow Spring and WI trails were closed. I guess if your looking for a weekend ride a late season dump works for you but I’m looking for a week of trail riding to make it worth my time.

Greg Soulje said it will be the last 10 or so days in Feb before it gets cold tamps and snow. He has said that Mar could good for late season snow?
