Not wimping out. Just had my weekend re-planned for me. Wish I could be there trying to keep up with you going from bar to bar to beer cart to beer cart. :)

And yes. A 3/4 ton Yukon XL wasn't engineered for fuel economy.

I'll try to stop by. Have a game in Novi at 9:30 and one in Troy at 5:00. I'll give you a call Friday.

Anyone going should stop by and visit the LETTERTECH booth. Say Hi to Mark, he's been a long time supporter of this site and does awesome work with quality products at reasonable prices.

Well was not impressed with the show in Novi. It has turned into a Klim, 509, Diva event. Many of the vendors that I wanted to see were not even there. Togwotee lodge??, Shadetree?, Spanky's, True Adventure Gear, even the Snobunje stuff was scarce.

I did manage to see a few JDee'rs wondering and wandering around. Even tracked down Megan in one of the 7 Diva locations. She is a sweet heart. Sledheadude800 was over in the vintage section as to be expected with his Mercury twisters. I actually won 50% off at Stingers by spinning the big wheel. Cashed that in on the way home. Only bought 4 leathermans from the surplus guy, nothing else.
Prices where nothing to write home about. The crowd was huge anyways. Also spent a great deal of time at the MSA booth, had a very good conversation with the Vice Pres. and Karen who works in the office.

We spent six hours at the show. I bought a Pepsi and some popcorn.

I did win a Ski-Doo talk t shirt, Stud Boy hat, Ski-Doo license plate holder and two Ski-Doo key lanyards at the Ski-Doo Talk meet and greet.

Agreed that there were not many deals to be had, but there sure was a lot of people at the show. I hope this is an indication of the sledding industry picking up.

Didn't see them. One beer from the beer cart ladies. $6 for a Coors light. The mom and pop TAG booth is always a stop to buy. But not there. Very good quality stuff from them. Can't believe smurfrider spent $349 on a pair of klim boots. My Hmk eBay special was less then half that and look the same. I bet Wolverine world wide makes them in one of their foreign sweat shops.
